Month In Review
I’ve been doing this for over 2 years now and have been put a ton of thought into my investing during that time. A lot of that is starting to culminate in my portfolio as we speak.
I’ve been putting a good amount of work into developing a better model for my asset class allocation. I’ve come up with a much more workable model for this going forward. I’m not allocated the way I want to be right now so I’m working on moving my portfolio in that direction over the coming months.
I also reworked my stock investment methodology a good bit over the past few months. I’m planning to use sectors in allocating my portfolio and using a 25-year average to determine the target weightings for each sector. I’m also not allocated the way I want to be right now so I’m working on moving my portfolio in that direction over the coming months.
I’m very happy with both updates and I believe they will allow me to put much of my investing more on autopilot but still allow me to tinker with things as I always feel the need to do.
The updates I’ve been working on are fairly extensive and I’ve been thinking about them for many, many months. I’ve done a full write up on them and plan to share it separately as I think it is worth it.
