During renovations, I had stuff everywhere (even outside). I decided I wanted a fire pit area in a spot, but the spot was “taken”. I needed to get to work organizing my firewood, so I’d have a place for our fire pit.

Emmaline & Zach Are Engaged
Emmaline and Zach got engaged. We’re so excited! We headed down to Orlando for an engagement party thrown by his family. In the process, I got excluded from the boys’ golf day and included in the girls’ wedding dress shopping day. Honestly, out of my element in either place. LOL. We had a fun party, …
Moving Out Of The Farm (Part 3) Selling Everything and Moving The Bronco
Two things left: 1) Sell everything in the Wild West of Marketplace (the wildest place on earth). 2) Speaking of the Wild West, I then needed to load up the Bronco. The Bronco was being a little feisty in the wet weather and did not want to get on the trailer nicely! Bad Bronco! In …

Moving Out Of The Farm (Part 2) – Moving The Tractor
The hard work SHOULD have been done. I’d already fought with the tractor to get it going again. Today is moving day, and she started right up. Good…Check! But then I, inexplicably, ran out of gas halfway onto the trailer?!? So what should have been an easy project turned into a debacle. Honestly, fairly typical, …

Moving Out Of The Farm (Part 1) – Getting The Tractor Started
Old fuel left me with a big chore. I have to get my old John Deere tractor started so I can move it out of the farm building. After 25 minutes of solid cranking, I was not denied. She FINALLY started! I’m also pretty sure I almost had a heart attack. Regardless, the first step …

BIP-110 & Should I Run Core or Knots?
Why I Run A Node My node died a year or so ago (the computer it was running on died), and I never brought it back online…yet. I hadn’t really had much urgency until I started noodling on the Bitcoin Core post v.30 / Knots / BIP-110 issue. I’ve done a good deal of research …
Installing and Edging Landscape Beds – This Old Dean House
Last year, this bed was an emergency project (disaster). This year, it was only slightly better. So, this year I reshaped everything and installed a clean edge. I have it in good shape now and ready for fall planting. Next year, we will no longer be an embarrassment to our community! LOL
Daytrip! Destin to Navarre Beach
While we visited Destin, we took a day trip over to Navarre Beach to see the longest pier in the Gulf (and to find the most peaceful beach in the Panhandle just past Navarre). Navarre Beach had a relaxed vibe. We’ll probably visit the area again one day.
Bitcoin Power Trend / “Subharmonics” Model/Theory (AKA: What I Think Has Happened And Will Happen With Bitcoin)
Listened to @1basemoney discuss @Giovann35084111 “Subharmonics” Model/Theory. Crazy how it follows very closely what is happening (I think). Here are my thoughts on it (why it is tracking / not tracking at different times). NOTE: I added the arrows/annotations. You can read this as a Twitter/X thread here: https://x.com/deanoroll5/status/2069237744824398296?s=20 Prior Cycle / Blowoff Top The …
The Most Peaceful Florida Panhandle Beach – Gulf Islands National Seashore – Santa Rosa Area
8 miles of protected beach with VERY few people to share it with made this day at the beach elite. The entire Gulf Islands National Seashore is one of the most visited National Park Service sites, but you wouldn’t know it while at the Santa Rosa Area. It was beautiful and, more importantly, very peaceful. …
