The first item on my farm’s master plan was to keep ticks and chiggers off of me. I was researching this the day after I walked the property for the first time. I don’t want any of the blood-borne illnesses that ticks carry. I also do not want a chigger anywhere near any part of me since I’ve never felt an itch like they produce in my life. Brutal! I’m not a fan of chemicals but I think the solution I came up with after much research is a good compromise (on clothes and not on me). I think I have a good plan to deal with these nasty creatures but if you have any good ideas I’d love to hear them.
