This Old Dean House – We Bought A 130 Year Old House

In a dramatic change of direction, we decided to buy a 130-year-old house. Things can change quickly around here! This all started because Emmaline didn’t want to sleep under our dining room table in our one-bedroom apartment (for Christmas). Fancy much?!? LOL! A few hours later I’d found us a new place…or…an old place! Everything was very exciting until I looked under the house and saw the crawl space. At that point, I wanted to go back to my one-bedroom apartment…GULP! What have we done!?! We kept binge-watching early This Old House episodes to channel our inner Bob Vila and successfully made it to the closing. We moved in before Christmas and Emmaline did not have to sleep under the dining room table (but not without Bedgate 2024). Now we’ll begin renovating and restoring while we live in “Oak View” (which was built in 1891). 2025 is going to be busy! Come along and take a tour!
