The Harpeth River State Park is pretty unique. It spans multiple locations over many miles. It is mainly for relaxing canoeing and kayaking with 9 put-ins / take-outs along 40 miles of the river. We plan to do that this year. There is also great hiking here. There are 3 places to hike that we fully explored (Hidden Lake, Gossett Tract, and The Narrows Of The Harpeth). This one is right down the road from our house so no RV needed!
