I love startups! I especially love successful startups! I helped found a company that wound up on the 2002 Inc 500 list of fastest-growing private companies. Back then it was only 500 companies instead of the 5,000 it is today (inflation, I guess). Investment Scorecard was #95 on the list in 2002. We went on to be on the list for multiple years.
In mid-2015 I helped found another startup in the homecare space, Bluebird Homecare. This year, in our first year of eligibility, we made the Inc 5,000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America! We were the #658 fastest growing company in the nation (#11 in TN, #6 in Nashville area)!
I can see you all rolling your eyes and mouthing ‘whatever…brag much’. Just keep on scrolling. I am going to brag because I am so #proud of our team! Getting to work with the great people I get to work with all day every day is much more rewarding than any award like this. They move mountains daily to make sure our clients get the care they need. Regardless, it is still fun to receive an award like this! Our goal is to be THE provider of choice and THE employer of choice in the markets we serve. We are having some success achieving that goal! Hard work, but rewarding work! We’ll keep doing it and maybe we’ll keep popping up on this list!
