RÜFÜS DU SOL – Live from Joshua Tree
We snuck in seeing Post Malone before COVID got kicked off too much (in March of 2020). I like Post Malone but this concert was for my wife. She loves Post Malone. It was a fun night and we didn’t get COVID and die from going (which was a win).
The world locked down immediately after that. My friend, Brent, and I had planned to go to see Kraftwerk again at Ryman Auditorium but that show was canceled (as almost every live event that year was).
Another band I’ve been listening to a good deal, RÜFÜS DU SOL, did something unique and did an ‘online show’. They set up in Joshua Tree National Park and performed a sunset show. What a great concept and what a great show. Sunset in a national park, light show, drones, and great music…what is not to like. Artwork! This was my favorite “concert” of 2020. I’ve included a link to it above. This “concert” will also be a reminder of all the insanity associated with the COVID stuff.
