I joke with people that we bought a farm just to mow…because mowing in TN heat is fun?!? We’ve never mowed anything bigger than our yard until now. I read all my tractor and implement manuals. We got the tractor set up for our first time and tested everything. Then we set off to mow our 11 acres for the first time. Mowing the property is not our long-term plan. I hope to have ruminant animals doing my mowing for me someday. Until we get our fencing installed, however, Emily is the tractor driver and I do the trimming.
