We spent 4 days in Savage Gulf State Natural Area and my favorite day was when we hiked up to Suter Falls and Horespound Falls. We entered the trail at the Collins West Trailhead and headed towards Suter Falls. The area that Suter Falls is in is absolutely stunning (and massive). It didn’t feel like it should have been in a state park but looked like it would be more at home in a national park. We continued on a rainy (ie slippery) hike down to Horsepound Falls before returning to Suter Falls. When we got back there I took it in a second time before heading home. Definitely a top hike for me!
