Today was a family vacation drive day from Vail, CO to Telluride, CO. I’m always looking for a National Monument in the neighborhood when I’m traveling. Colorado National Monument was about the halfway point of our drive. It had a scenic drive that looked super! Rim Rock Drive is the best way to see the location. It is a 23-mile scenic drive through the National Monument (there are several places to stop and get out and take in the magnificent sights). It didn’t disappoint! Even though it was raining it held the interest of our teenagers/young adults. PS – The drive down I-70 near Glenwood Springs, CO was awesome too! Once we finished we headed on to Telluride for the last part of our trip! Another National Monument checked off my list!
