We headed to the lake to visit two different (but related) Tennessee state parks for some kayaking and hiking. We stayed at Nathan Bedford Forrest SP in Eva, TN. We visit Johnsonville Historic Park across the river while we were there. Both parks have Civil War history galore. We loaded the kayaks on the truck for the first time. For this 18th RV trip, we loaded up Samson for his first trip with us since our very first trip (we’ll give this another try). We survived an overexcited dog, white capping water on our lake kayak trip, a missed wagon ride, lots of moss, and being attacked by a couple of million spiders on our hike. It was more fun than this sounds.
