We started the morning off this day by stopping by Molly’s work and having her make me a delicious cup of coffee. This was no typical coffee order. I put her to the test! I’d have her job if she messed it up! Emily got a double dose of historic parks in one day. We started the day at Red Clay State Historic Park on the Tennessee/Georgia state line. This was the last Cherokee Nation capital in the eastern US before our nation sent these people up the Trail Of Tears. Emily had her own trail of tears as I forced her up the road to a second historic park that same afternoon. Both Emily and Molly survived their day with me.
