First Bikepacking Trip – Land Between The Lakes

I’ve never gone bikepacking but wanted to give it a try. I’d spent a good part of the winter learning about it. Max decided he’d go with me (his first time too). For my first bikepacking trip we went up to Land Between The Lakes to ride on the 28-mile North-South Trace: Canton Road to Canal Loop (singletrack trail). Short version…we (I) bit off more than we could chew. But everything worked out just fine and we had a great trip. Learned a few lessons for the next trip (which there will definitely be).
