Aspen, Ouray, Denver and New Mexico – Family Vacation 2015

Throwback 2015! Our family vacation this year involved a summer visit to Aspen, Colorado where we hiked up the ski mountain. Then we headed over to Ouray, Colorado. We visited the hot springs fed swimming pools (Ouray Hot Springs Pool) and a neat waterfall overlooking the city (Box Canyon Falls Park). We headed up the Million Dollar Highway towards Pop’s cabin in New Mexico. We spent a few days there. We visited Morphy Lake State Park, Chimayo, and the Carson National Forest. Then we headed up to Denver, Colorado to fly back home (but to have some fun before we did). One of the biggest ‘adventures’ our family of six has in preparing to go on a long trip like this–packing! Packing goes late into the night before we leave. I tried to capture some of that here.
