We started our Spring Break with snow and freezing temperatures. We were supposed to tent camp at Stone Mountain Park (near Atlanta, Georgia) but we canceled that and opted for indoors (and heat). On the way there we stopped off in Chattanooga and picked up Molly for our week-long road trip. We didn’t let the cold stop us from hiking up the Walk Up Trail on Stone Mountain. I almost wish we had!?! It was windy and absolutely freezing (the definition of wind chill was on full display). The following day we visited some other parts of Stone Mountian Park (covered bridge, grist mill, and the Confederate Memorial Carving) before heading to our next stop down the road (Orlando to see Emmaline).
