Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park, in Manchester, TN. was our home base for about a week as we hiked in the surrounding area of Tennessee. One afternoon when we got rained out of our plan we explored this state park’s 2000-year-old earthworks Native American fort, two rivers (Duck River and Little Duck River), and several waterfalls (including the Duck River’s biggest waterfall). We then finished the evening spectating (not playing) a dramatic bingo game at the local barbeque restaurant.
