Epic Hike Fail! Our First Hiking Injury! Which One Makes It Back?

We had our first epic failed hike, so we biked instead. Always have a plan B! Numerous people have commented on Emily always hiking in sandals. I don’t advise it, but each to their own. On this day she came to the hike (at Denny Cove) with a sour attitude about the AllTrails app hike time estimates and karma came home to see her. HA! Our hike was cut short when she cut her foot. This is the first time we’ve had a hike end unfinished [sad face emoji]. I quickly reworked the trip plan and we wound up biking the Chattanooga Riverwalk Greenway with Molly before heading home. My trip home was ruined as well when I had to listen to the UT Vols beat Bama (and then have Max, my Vol son, rub it in). Lots of epic fails on this day!
